Poor Lindir! I love how organised he is, though. (Does your version of Lindir take over for bookverse Erestor, or is Erestor around somewhere too?)

Also, I like the idea that Elrond might hand off Vilya rather than leave the valley unprotected (and yay Glorfindel!). Elrond's very committed to keeping Rivendell safe - I really wonder what Tolkien's version of the White Council going to Dol Guldur would have involved - who would have gone physically and who would have lent ring-based or spiritual help.
