I love your Legolas and Thranduil both in this verse, and while I want Thranduil to be able to love Legolas freely (for both of them to be happier), I also want Legolas to be able to hug Thranduil for being so strong and having chosen to let both of them live.

I will read anything that shows Thranduil as a good parent, srsly.
