I'm so glad you like it! <3

At first, the idea of Fury, Coulson and Darcy being Loki's kids struck me as very, very weird. But the idea grew on me, and then ideas about what that would mean developed, and then I completely fell in love with it. Because something like that puts everything that happens in the movies never read the comics, so all characterisation comes from the films in a completely different light.

Can I use the phrase 'Snakezilla'? Because I just couldn't stop laughing when I read that. It's so, completely, true that they probably don't realise just how big Jormungandr is. After all, Fenris can still fit on land - how much bigger can he possibly be? (I have part of that chapter written already, and an internal map of where he's lying in the oceans. And the fact that I have to use the plural there should give you a pretty good idea.) With Jormungandr there's also the problem of the collateral damage that waking him up is going to cause. Something that big moving around in the world's oceans? Cue epic tsunamis everywhere and 2012 conspiracy theorists losing their shit.

Coulson's shapeshifting will be discussed in the next chapter.

...he may have to shrink down a bit for that ride first though, otherwise Canada may get a bit squished. XD
