I like. I like very, very much!

I know what you mean. Now, whenever I watch the movies, I can't help but consider them in light of my favorite fanon. As a result, I'm afraid that Coulson's dramatic death in The Avengers movie was - kinda spoiled on me; I kept thinking that there's no way a paltry stab through the chest can kill the Fenris Wolf.

...it also explains some of Fury's (lack) of a reaction. And casts Darcy tazing Thor in an entirely new light...

Please feel free to use 'Snakezilla!' And - well, it's not necessary, but could you please reference where you the phrase came from? It would give me a nice gooey feeling if I saw my name even tangentially referenced in this utterly AMAZING story... And you have to wonder exactly what happened the LAST time Jor managed to wiggle his way out of the ocean. Was there some great epic flood in history that correlates to the event?

I've heard some people speculate that Jor's actually hiding in the Mariana Trench and is actually the source of The Bloop. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloop) I also think he enjoys fucking with conspiracy theoriests. Then again, I know nothing of oceanography.

If Coulson's minions are having heart attacks and frantically doing their paperwork, then SHIELD as a whole will be - well, working overtime to make sure that Director Fury (and suddenly the name makes SO MUCH SENSE) has absolutely NO cause whatsoever to even *look* in their direction...

And when you consider that Jor is prophecized to kill Odin, and you look up and up at towers of dripping, barnacle-encrusted scales and a baleful red eye larger then New York City - yes. You sudden begin to believe that this is a thing that can kill a god.

If Coulson can change shape, then changing size should actually be a lot easier. And you have to admit, it'd be a lot easier to move a wolf the size of a minivan then one that straddles continents.

...honestly, though, all I could think of was Elfquest when I thought about wolf-riders... And Clint shooting arrows at someone from Fenrir's back while a GIANT WOLF barrels towards the enemy at gods-alone-know mph is - interesting.
