Being surrounded by it doesn't make it any less intimidating, trust me XD My main motivation is that I'd love to be able to go to the grocery store without spending ages looking things up on Google translate (which is not very good with Vietnamese) and have small talk with my neighbours.

Fandom is great. I really missed it last year.
