femslash100's Drabbletag5. While we're on the subject of sonnets, though, Shakespeare's Sonnet 129 reminds me a lot of these two.
She likes poetry. She likes the lusty obsession of it; smuggles slim volumes of it into the house so that she can pour over the beauty within their pages and recite it to Cissa when her sister is curled in her arms in the dark. She inks sonnets onto Cissa’s skin – the words of dead Muggles staining her baby sister’s pure, pale flesh and hidden beneath her clothes until they smudge and smear with sweat. She could write sonnets of her own if she wanted. She knows enough about lust and obsession to be able to do it, but never does.
