I thought you might like the h/c elements in this XD I really enjoyed that part too - exploring the difference between Bard's instincts when he's unconscious and the rigorous control that he exerts over them was so much fun. Also, exhausted snuggling might be one of my favourite things.
And yep. I utterly reject Peter Jackson's idea of how their relationship is. My Thranduil is a good father, dammit!
