Because it was so much fun last time, I'm doing the Timestamp Meme again!

Give me one of my stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future (after the end of the story), or sometime in the past (before the story started), and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

Ooo, this sounds awesome. Could you do something from the painless verse, after the war of the ring with Legolas and Thranduil reuniting? Or pretty much anything about the interactions between the two of them when they both know that Legolas is half-orc?

He folds his arms on the railing and leans over the side. Beneath him, the water is black, but lights from the cabins illuminate the foam being tossed up in the ferry’s wake. In the distance, England is a constellation of golden lights underlined by the ghostly white of Dover’s cliffs.

It’s cold enough that his breath mists, but Sirius is a long line of heat pressed up against his back and Harry’s half hard in response, but he’s too tired to do anything about it and too transfixed on the shrinking horizon. It’s not a long journey to France, and once they’re on the continent, they can truly get lost.

He doesn’t know exactly where they’re going, but he knows two things for sure – they’ll get there together, and the only direction they won’t go is back.

Others (like Elrond and Galadriel) reflecting on Legolas' existence in the painless verse? That line about Gimli noticing that Legolas didn't fit in with other elves was so saaaaaad...

Vague prompt is vaaaaaaaaaaaague. XD But I've had my butt kicked enough to finish this (http://hikarievandar.livejournal.com/87620.html) off at long last. Is there anything more specific you fancy out of this verse?

I have specific prompts but they are not specifically, er, timestamps. So, pick and choose if any are inspiring?
- baby fang jewellery
- Thranduil and Gimli one on one
- Thranduil actually managing to talk about how Legolas was concieved/hated/born/loved/found alien/missed/any of the above
- traumatising Thranduil some more with the fact that Legolas has been to the Dead Marshes (since they're right by the Black Gate)
- hugs. Because omg they both need them so badly.
- actually, does Thranduil have any nice physical contact, ever? Or nothing at all since Legolas was small? (I'm glad Gimli is there to hug Legolas a lot, the both of them must be utterly touch-starved)

(most of all I want them to reconcile but this is very very complicated and also sadly vague as prompts go)

(I love everything that happens in this verse even when it hurts)
