Day 1 - Ten random facts about yourself
Day 2 - Nine things you do everyday
Day 3 - Eight things that annoy you
Day 4 - Seven fears/phobias
Day 5 - Six songs that you’re addicted to
Day 6 - Five things you can’t live without
Day 7 - Four memories you won’t forget
Day 8 - Three words you can’t go a day without
Day 9 - Two things you wish you could do
Day 10 - One person you can trust
1. I've lived and worked in four different countries, travelled to over twenty, and been homeless twice.
2. My cats are named Bellatrix and Cassiopeia, both because of my obsession with the Blacks from Harry Potter and because I really enjoy stargazing.
3. I absolutely adore horror. The first horror movie I ever watched was Poltergeist - I snuck downstairs to watch it on TV when I was four, and I've not looked back since. I love being scared, which is fortunate...
4. ...because I get really vivid nightmares combined with sleep paralysis. The last one can only be best described as 'The Murder-Nuns of Azkaban: The Musical'. Anything that phrase conjures is guaranteed to not be as weird as the dream itself.
5. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Bungee jumping was one of the best things I've ever done, and I'm a huge fan of motorbikes even though I'll only ever ride pillion, because...
6. I can't drive. I've had lessons - for free, even, because my mother's a driving instructor - but the inclination just isn't there.
7. I love body modifications. I can't wear most of my piercings because I'm not allowed jewellery at work, but I have ten. I've got four tattoos as well, and I'm getting another two this Friday!
8. I hate the way I sound. I'm glad that I don't have my regional accent because it's hideous, but I sound fairly ridiculously English, even when compared to other members of my family. Put it this way: the company I work for almost didn't hire me because my voice made them think I was too posh to work there.
9. I work best under extended periods of extreme stress. As a result, I don't sleep much, have an insane addiction to caffeine, and an immune system that's patched together with duct tape and miracles.I got an essay back last week, promptly crashed with relief and managed to develop tonsillitis overnight, so to be fair to my irritating received pronunciation - it isn't much of a problem at the moment.
10. I was raised Pagan, in an odd combination of Wicca and Kemeticism, so childhood anecdotes usually involve stuff like learning tarot cards and calling the four corners. This decision on behalf of my parents was fairly alienating for some members of my family, and when my grandmother died she left me seven (seven!) Bibles in the hopes that I'd convert...I haven't.
