He was a pale reflection of himself – of a human being. He was a poor one. His black eyes were vacant, and although his pale cheeks were flushed with pleasure and his black hair was mussed, he still managed to look indifferent. No matter what he did – how hard he kissed or sucked or thrust – that apathy remained. He hated that look. He hated that carelessness, as though he had no idea what it was like to enjoy the company of another human. He might as well have fucked a robot for all the emotion he was showing.
Afterwards, Sai stood. He dressed quickly and left Sasuke lying there with that apathetic expression still on his face. He felt uncomfortable. He just didn’t know how Naruto could care so much about someone so vacant.
