I already had an idea of what Fenris would be like, and then I watched the movie again and tried to connect that to Coulson's character. They were pretty different at first, but I liked the way that they came together in the end. I'm really happy that it worked out.
Text speak is hard! I never use it RL. But you're right. I couln't imagine her using proper spelling or grammar in text messages at all. It just wasn't Darcy.
The dog jokes came from what I'm like with my older brothers. Obviously, they aren't giant wolves, but the principle of 'annoying little sister' is one that I can relate to. XD
