This was so achingly beautiful and sad. I particularly liked the details about the dwarven braids in Legolas' hair and Fili's unwavering confidence in Thorin's ability to protect them and himself. You captured Legolas' spirit and voice perfectly and I've always found him to be a particularly difficult character to write so I'm doubly impressed. Excellent work, thanks for sharing it with us.
