Bellatrix Black is enchanting. Tall and beautiful, with a shining green prefect’s badge pinned to her full breast, she’s everything Lily wants to be. Beautiful. Powerful. She watches Bellatrix compulsively, in the halls and at dinner; watches as she holds court amongst her fellow Slytherins.

She watches her at the Slug Club meetings when she’s finally invited along to them. Bellatrix paints her lips a bloody red and lines her eyes with kohl; she draws Lily to a shadowy corner and tilts up her chin. This close, she smells of almonds. Her breath on Lily’s cheek is warm and wet, and her hands are curling gently around her throat.

“I’ve seen you watching me,” she whispers. Her smile is kind and her eyes dark and gleaming. “Brave little Gryffindor.”

“My name is Lily,” Lily tells her.

Bellatrix’s nails are sharp against the back of her neck. She leans down further, and Lily’s eyes widen as red lips press softly at the corner of her mouth. Past the curtain of her hair, she can see down Bellatrix’s dress; can see black lace clinging to pale skin. She swallows.

“Well, Lily,” Bellatrix says. “You’re going to be my protégé from now on.”

Thank you <3 Bella (pre-Azkaban, at least) always struck me as a sexy lady, and I love the thought of her taking Lily in and corrupting her...and Lily being totally willing, of course ;)
