It’s not the first time she’s seen another girl naked. She lives in a dorm, for heaven’s sake! There are communal showers! But it’s the first time she’s seen Narcissa, and she can’t tear her eyes away. There’s a little concave dip just under Narcissa’s sternum; her small breasts create tiny, pointed shadows in her ribs, and there’s a fine dusting of pale blonde hair on her belly, leading downwards.

Lily swallows. She feels ungainly and awkward; a little pudgy where her baby-fat is still transmuting into curves. But Narcissa’s eyes are hungry, her smile is beautiful, and she’s naked.
