Steampunk's really not my thing, but I have found a few for Supernatural that I actually like, so I'm writing a rec list for ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)

Steam by bellatemple
Basically, the archetypal Steampunk!Supernatural fic. Brilliant characterisation all round, fantastic plot, and not at all as crazy as you might think. Plus! Because it was written for a BigBang, there's art but mithborien.
Building Steam: Attack by Aithilin, followed by it's sequel Building Steam: Coffee and a cracky oneshot Leather Pants
Entertaining, easy to read, and very detailed for such short reads. The characterisation of Sam in particular is great to see.
TickTock by oatmeal_queen (mild Dean/Castiel)
Dean and Cas' voices are spot on in this, and again, the AU world is really detailed - including spirits, ghosts and demons and hunting alongside the steampunk actually worked really well here.
