I really like seeing these two fall deeper in love over the course of the manga, navigating their age gap and their different life experiences, and that's the feel that I like in fic too. I'd like to see them move back in together - whether because they're planning to or because of an emergency, but to embrace it as a permanent change.

Or, of course, you can go the smutty route. I'd really like to see the phone sex that they absolutely had when Kisa was away on the onsen trip.

I'd really like to see these two falling in love across missions, maybe developing a secret relationship - or the aftermath of having been in a secret relationship and being able to come out as a couple after the war ends.

Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service

I'd really like to see either something super domestic for these two, or something creepy and paranormal. Something that involves them navigating their age gap, or maybe something that has the odd boundaries that come with being a couple who occasionally have to work together.

If you go the paranormal route, I'd really like to see how Sasayama handles Karatsu's everything during their relationship. Are there moments when Karatsu freaks him out? And if so, how do they get past that?

Haruno Sakura/Sasori

This is my favourite het ship in the history of forever. I love Sakura having Sasori as a monster on a leash; them being utterly enthralled with each other while the rest of the world looks on in absolute horror. Feel free to make Sasori as deranged and sociopathic as you like.

Senju Tobirama/Uchiha Hikaku

I'd really like to see something that either starts before the building of Konoha or just afterwards.

Either way, something that deals with these two having to navigate tricky political situations - maybe even using politics to their advantage (arranged marriage?) - between their clans and hostility from relatives, and how they overcome them.

Senju Tobirama/Uchiha Kagami

For this one, I'd really like to see Kagami's attempts to seduce his sensei. How does it start? What finally gets Tobirama to look at him as a partner instead of a student? How utterly sick of watching them is Danzo? And how much have Utatane and Sarutobi got wagered on the outcome?

And what are the reactions of their clans?

Hatake Sakumo/Orochimaru


Most of the fic that I've seen for these two involves them getting together after Sakumo has been outcast, but I'd like to see them getting together earlier. How would that have changed things for Orochimaru if he'd had Sakumo firmly in his corner before the Sannin began to fall apart?

And Kakashi! Test-tube baby Kakashi getting grown in a lab ala Mitsuki. Sakumo's reaction when Orochimaru presents him with an infant and a "my experiment worked, it's a boy" before Orochimaru heads off to wash the smell of the lab out of his hair.
