AN: I read a lot of time travel AUs. I love the genre. But sometimes it makes me think 'what do the people not in on the secret think about the people who come back in time?' Sometimes, the kind of behaviour you get in those AUs is whacked, and people would definitely notice it. Also, what happens if the people who go back are in a relationship? Would they just put it on hold until they hit puberty/were physically/legally old enough to sex when really they've been having it for years? And that's when I got the idea for this: how Mikoto feels about Itachi and Naruto when they've returned to Konoha pre-massacre.
