Dear Yuletide Author,
Thank you so much for signing up to Yuletide and taking the time to write something for me as part of it. I hope that you enjoy writing for me. I'm not that fussy, I promise, and I know that I'll adore reading what you come up with. The important part is that you enjoy creating whatever it is you create - and that some tiny fandoms get some great fic!
First off, on a general note, my squicks are non-con, abuse of any kind, and extreme angst (of the suicidal kind). I really, really can't read them so I'd appreciate it if you avoided them as much as possible. Apart from that, I'm very much an anything goes kind of person. I don't really have any major kinks, but domestic fluff and character introspectives are my favourites.
I nominated these fandoms because I really like their canon universes. As such, even though I'm usually a big fan of most AUs, I'd prefer it if you stuck to canon or canon-AUs for your fic.
Kurosagi
I love this manga so much. The overarching theme about graduate employment really hits home for me XD But seriously, I love the dark humour and how it balances out perfectly with the twisted murders and graphic scenes.
Fic-wise, I'd love something that explores the chemistry between Sasayama and Karatsu. Seriously, weird I know, but every time they're shown together I can't help but think that they're a pretty explosive combination. You can make it slashy, friendshippy, paternal, or anything really (I have a secret desire for slash because cracky rare-pair alert, but that is seriously not necessary if it weirds you out.) Or maybe something from Yaichi's POV. Like what the hell he thinks of everything that's going on. What he thinks of Karatsu. Something to further explain the connection betweeen them, no matter how crazy, would be great. Or something Makino-centric. Something about her time in America, or what she and Sasaki do when they hang out (feel free to make it femslashy if you want), or even about her gradual acceptance (and enjoyment?) of being asked to cosplay.
Yukarism
This is a fairly new manga for me, and I'm really enjoying it so far (I'm about to start Volume 3). I don't really mind spoilers, but I'd appreciate warnings for them if you do end up including them.
I'm more interested in the past lives than in the modern era. Things to do with everyday life, personal interactions, smut... I'd love somthing really domestic for this fandom, but feel free to go nuts with it.
Penny Dreadful
This is another fandom that's fairly new to me, and I've only just finished Season 1. I don't mind spoilers so long as they're warned for, but I really appreciate canon AUs, especially when dealing with the relationship between Frankenstein and Caliban. I'd love to see them working together on something that changes their antagonistic relationship into something other. (Slash, if you're okay with that; friendship or or tolerance or even vague forgiveness are fine if you're not.) Maybe Caliban wants Frankenstein rather than a bride; what if Frankenstein kept Caliban around instead of abandoning him?
For Ethan, I'd love to know more about the wolf side. How he copes (if he copes), how it effects his everyday life. Can he smell things on Frankenstein's skin that freak him out? Something about his pre-series travels would be awesome.

Shadow Magic, is one of my absolute favourite books and I was pretty ecstatic to see its main characters all nominated year.
I suppose I'm pretty predictable in that I ship the hell out of Alcibiades and Caius, and I'd love absolutely anything about their relationship (whether slash or pre-slash or just the canonical flirting/what-the-fuck-is-this-guy-doing-and-why). I also find Kouje and Mamoru, in any configuration, to be absolutely adorable.
I'd also like to see the four characters interacting with each other. What do Kouje and Mamoru think of Caius' fascination with their culture? Do he and Mamoru meet again after the events of Shadow Magic and surprise themselves (or, at least, everyone around them) by getting on really well? Something that deals with the political atmosphere would be fantastic, and I'd love to see the Ke'Han approach to diplomacy with Mamoru on the throne.
You don't have to pay too much attention to my prompts/ideas. As long as you don't write any of my squicks then we're golden. Whatever it is that you do end up writing, Yuletide Author, I hope that you have an amazing time doing so.
