Painlessverse! Thranduil/Bard! I'd love to see more of that pairing. Your children-of-Loki MCU AU looks really neat too.

I'm beginning to think too many! But I did get more of the rarepair fest fic done today and it's now over the minimum word count so that's good. (Although it's now looking like it'll be far longer than initially planned, which may prove annoying while I try to finish it and go on to other things.)

The Thranduil/Bard is a private gift, unfortunately, so it won't be posted anywhere (but hey, $15 for charity) but I'm really looking forward to writing it. I may have to explore this pairing further. Hmmm...

The ones listed for Painless'verse are the ones planned. That series tends to want to expand. So does the Children of Loki'verse, for all that I haven't touched MCU fic in a while.

Meh, I still have no idea what to write for the Hobbit Big Bang so it could very well end up Thranduil/Bard. I'm sort of flailing all over the place at the moment. That prompt looks like it could be great - I agree with the commenter who said they like young-looking!parental!Elves ^.^ I haven't been on the Kink Meme in ages. I'm trying to avoid getting any more ideas. XD

The Coulson-stabbing is one of the reasons why I keep putting it off. I just know it's going to break my heart. I'm trying not to let Painless'verse go the same way, but oh their poor hearts ~

....I wonder if movie!Thranduil's face counts as guro enough for bloodyvalentine. I want Legolas kissing his father's cheek, for all that I have no actual plot to justify it.

Actually, there's nothing to say you couldn't write the next parts of Painless for the Hobbit BB, is there? Depending if they'd be long enough, but the reunion sounded like it was going to take a while?

Ah, good idea. I've got some saved links as well, but like I said before I haven't really been looking at them. I might do that.

It might classify as guro depending on how far you take it. The certainly look gory enough.

It has to be new fic for the Big Bang, unfortunately, so I don't think I could. And even if it was possible, I don't think that they'd be long enough. Longer, certainly, than the others have been, but not 7000 words. I like my angst short and soul destroying.

Ah, darn. But, on the other hand, that would mean Big Bang longfic might be happier! At any rate, good luck with brainstorming for it. The more I research Tolkien things, the more the ideas branch off everywhere.

Tolkien certainly provided us with a wonderful sandbox to play in. There's so much to work with <3 Lol, it couldn't get much more depressing than Painless'verse. Who knows? I may end up with fluff! That would be something different, right?

My latest 'how did I miss this' was Elrond and Galadriel and Celeborn and Gandalf staying up all night being telepathic at each other, on the way home at the end of RotK.

If Celeborn is in on the telepathy, then it's not just the bearers of the Three, and I feel entirely justified in writing telepathic Thranduil. XD (and, in the continuing saga of 'ways my friend Legolas is a weird elf', by Gimli)

All's well as end's better, right? There could be fluff! (it might be attached to lots and lots of angst, but it still counts~~)

Telepathic Thranduil? Headcanon completely accepted. And I would love to see Gimli's reaction to finding out that Legolas can speak directly into his mind XD Weird elf, indeed.

Funnily enough, I missed that part of RotK as well. Huh. I desperately need to reread those books at some point, but there's always something new to find every time you pick them up.
