Honeydukes has the best chocolate she’s ever tasted, and it tastes even better when they aren’t supposed to be in the village. She watches as Lavender tilts her head back – a smile on her face; her eyes closed – and lets a smooth truffle melt into nothing on her tongue. The moan she gives is something obscene, and Parvati feels her cheeks flush. She looks away.

Her own truffle is melting between her fingers. She eats it quickly, a tang of orange bursting in her mouth, and she licks her fingers clean, chasing the last of the flavour while Lavender watches.
