Sif looks different in a gown – more slender without all the metal and padding – but her eyes still shine with pride and victory. It’s a good look, paired as it is with the flush ale has given her and the diamonds in her hair, but she looks better spattered with blood and battlefield grime.

Natasha wants to slice the gown off her body and show her a real way to celebrate. Instead, she sips her own ale and makes promises with her eyes and trailing fingers that make Sif bite her lip and smile. The party carries on around them

Thank you so much for writing this! You have such a way with descriptions, the way you describe Sif is stunning, and I could just picture Natasha's smouldering looks, not to mention Sif's reaction. :D
