Most of the time, her desire is stronger than her guilt. She can let Darcy push her skirt up and slip under the desk at lunchtimes; when Tony’s off saving the world and she’s running his company, she can spend her business trips in luxury hotels licking minibar whiskey off Darcy’s skin.

Darcy’s a loudmouth, but Pepper knows she won’t tell. She doesn’t have to worry about scandal as when it’s kept behind closed doors and curtains, and both of them are good at keeping secrets.

Sometimes, when the guilt does set in, she thinks they deserve to be caught.
