lynndyre - I noticed in your fest letters that you ask for Glorfindel from an outsider perspective. This started out that way, but then Lindir went and fell in love.
There are two songs in the fic: 'O! Where Are You Going?' from The Hobbit, and a 16th century broadside ballad called Watkin's Ale.
( He has not spoken in the Silvan dialect since his arrival in Imladris... )
