“It must be kept secret,” Bella hisses.
Narcissa traces her fingers gently over the red flesh surrounding the Dark Mark before lowering her head and pressing a kiss to hot skin. The Mark is fresh and swollen – a display of recklessness and fanaticism. Bella hisses again, and her fingers coil in Narcissa’s hair – tugging, but not enough to pull her away. Narcissa’s kisses trail a path up Bella’s arm to her neck, where she turns her head to hide her face in the tangle of Bella’s hair.
“You know I keep secrets,” she whispers, and feels Bella shiver against her.
